"Produced and added a new video from sunday's beautiful surf session ...
Surfing Boscombe Pier, Bournemouth, United Kingdom - 06.02.2010.
One of the best days I have ever seen at Boscombe Pier. Stunning, superclean sets rolled in the whole morning and most of the mid-day. A legendary day in the surfing history of Boscombe Paradise Pier.
"Durban is the second largest city in South Africa, only beaten by Johannesburg in terms of population numbers. It is located in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, and is considered by many as the playground of South Africa. . ...South Africa is on of the world’s best surf destinations, and has an amazing 2.800km (1.900mi) of coastline split between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Even though there are surfspots which are considered better in terms of quality waves along the south-african coast, Durban has established itself as the country’s surf centre. This has been mainly accredited to the city’s high population density of surfers and also a great all-round year climate.."

"Maui welcomes you with its green fantastic scenery which after just a few seconds of its intense exposure will send your mind into a state of euphoria. Palms, azure blue legendary waves, mesmerising tropical vegetation and volcanic peaks all mix together to create a completely unique ambiance. ...Jaws. A place only the fewest surfers dare surf. This notorious surf spot is credited with being the birthplace of tow-in surfing. Laird Hamilton, the waterman, and his crew, consisting of Buzzy Kerbox and big-wave guru Darrick Doerner first surfed Jaws in late 1991. After intense research and trial-and-error the finally decided the day had come. They would tame Jaws, and tame Jaws they did. Pulling one another into 50ft waves they made surfing history."

Imagine azurblue waves rising rhythmically from the oceanfloor, towering towards the clear sunfilled sky. Breaks moving towards the shore constantly growing in size until they peak in a display of pure power, leaving the spectators gasping for air."

" .. "As far as outward achievements are concerned, man's progress is outstanding to date. However, the way that man deals with life has not been changed for centuries. It appears to me that there is no psychological maturity in man's thinking or how he handles life affairs. Whatever man has achieved to date is a fraction of what he is capable of accomplishing. In other words, many individuals are ignoring what they are naturally capable of doing in life. Man is striving to accomplish what he wants at the cost of losing some important psychological skills, such as recognising the facts in everyday life situations. Most of us are satisfied with merely fitting in with the social pattern. What is it that we need to understand in order to deal with life intelligently?" .."

Today 24th of March: Dubai illegalised surfing at the only spot which has some winter-swell.
" .. On the morning of Tuesday 24th 2009, Dubai's usual keen surfers paddle out for the fun but small 3 foot surf. The fun was soon interrupted when four police cars and two municipality trucks arrived at the scene with fury! Lights flashing and whistles blowing they proceeded to call everyone out off the water. They then demanded for our driving licenses with no explanation. One of the officers threatened a 14 year old boy (who would not have a license in the first place) that he would be put in prison if he did not hand over his license. After all the commotion, 6 of the surfers were issued fines for, according the officers 'sliding on the waves' - "
