::: How did you first get into surfing?:
- I first got into surfing when I was studying in california.
::: What drives and motivates you to surf?
- Exotic surfspots. All kinds of travelling to exotic places drives and motivates me to surf more.
::: Any particular surfexperiences (good or bad) you want to share?
- Gone-Surfing: Earlier in Portugal, John told me one of the nastiest wipeout stories I've ever heard.. When John was Indonesia he was surfing a massive triple-overhead reef break. At take-off on one of the waves he lost balance, sending him headfirst into the razorsharp reef. Knackered and battered, John managed to get in to the shore, all covered in blood. The lifeguard shrugged his shoulders, and pointed to a taxi.. After much trouble, he ended up in a hospital, leaving him with 100 stitches in the face..! Quite a warstory, mate.
:: What would you blast on the ghettoblaster to get PUMPED and ready to rip before surfing?
- To get pumped, I usually play something fast and loud.. like techno or house.
