Bjørn Hellfuck is a norwegian musical phenomenon from Bergen, which I guess would have to be categorised as magna cum laude rock/pop. With their catchy tunes and vulgar lyrics Bjørn Hellfuck and his partners in crime band has experienced an explosive rise in popularity since the first mp3 was released on nrk Urørt. Since then their catchy, although undeniably vulgar music have been played on pre-, current- and afterparties causing a massive chainreaction spreading their musical virus Hellfuckiosis coccyxealis to the people through airborne soundwaves resulting in a bigger pandemic than the Swine Flu.
The group always plays with masks alà Slipknot (which some of us have seen without masks.. no biggie..), and Bjørn Hellfuck has expressed that the masks will stay on, as he is not really loving the attention, which in some cases might be quite excessive.
Their are currenlty out with their MOgnificent ALBUM "Innforjævlig". The tracklist is as follows:

The album is currently only available digitally on artonearth.com/hellfuck, but as expressed later in the interview, it will be released in hardcover in january. As can be understood from the song titles, these are not tracks recommended for the fainthearted.
"Krabbeklo" (see video further down) is currently B-listed on NRK P3 (per 16 november) and Bjørn Hellfuck (which are legendary LIVE based on auditory witnessreports) has already been confirmed for the festival By:Larm 2010, among many other concerts. Expect to see more and greater things from this musical collaboration in the near future.

::: Gone-Surfing.com: Top of the morning to you Bjørn Hellfuck! You are currently dominating the afterparty playlists with your deep penetrating lyrics and catchy melodies. Where do you find the inspiration for the songs? Are they all based on the daily life of Bjørn Hellfuck? ::: Bjørn Hellfuck: Well, I have a dirty and somewhat childish kind of humor, and it just made sense
to express these thoughts through music. Some things are self experienced (hehe),
and others just stuff that amuses me.
::: Gone-Surfing.com: Hehehe.. Nice.. In a recent "home with..." interview with Lydverket (LINK - opens in a new window ) you stated that you were quite athletic before you became addicted to beer, music and worldof warcraft(!) Can it be assumed that the sport you were involved in was
the beautiful watersport of surfing? Does the mask hide a past of sand, sun,surfbabes and cold beer? And ehh.. which level are you on WOW? Does the WOW level come in handy when picking up women for song inspiration? ::: Bjørn Hellfuck: Hehe. I was into all sorts of things, and have always been drawn to the water of course. Always good times to be had there you know. (Yeah, definitely) What level I am on at WOW? (Haha) What do you think?! I
got LOADS of times on my hands ;) Haven't gotten any inspiration from there
as I can recall, but I just enjoy it. When you are in holiday mode as I usually am, you tend to just do fun things you know.

Sounds good. Having represented your songs on an international level.. afterpartywise. Based on the incredibly positive response I would say that there is quite a
market for Bjørn Hellfuck out there.. What do you think of "doing a
Hasselhoff"? Will your wonderful music be looking for freedom in Europe any
time soon? What are you currently up to (gigs og album info etc. PROMO)? ::: Bjørn Hellfuck:
Haha, yeah.. We are actually working on translating the lyrics to german, and gonna try it
out there. Think that will be hilarious! Album release in january ((Innforjævlig"), and then
basically touring for a few months.
